TERMS OF USE
These terms govern Grey’s free early access.
Effective 4 September 2026Grey Matter is the public project name Edgar Silva uses to operate Grey's invite-only free pilot; it is not presented as a separate registered entity. You may participate only with a direct invitation and only if you are an adult age 18 or older. Do not use or share pilot access if you are under 18 or were not invited.
Grey creates a private, searchable memory from supported YouTube sources. It may preserve transcript text, summaries, topics, and links to exact moments, but it does not host or redistribute the original video.
You are responsible for activity under your authenticated Google or ChatGPT identity and for keeping that identity secure. Grey does not issue or reset passwords. Account recovery remains with the provider you selected. Grey may restrict automated abuse, attempts to access another person's data, or use that threatens the service.
Creators and platforms retain their rights in source videos. Use Grey only with sources you may lawfully access. Do not use Grey to download, republish, or commercially redistribute video content or transcripts.
Summaries, categories, answers, and selected moments can be incomplete or wrong. Important decisions should be checked against the original video and transcript. Grey links generated memories back to the source so you can verify them.
Grey is currently free while it grows. No payment method is collected. Access, processing allowances, and features may evolve; Grey will communicate material changes before they take effect.
Grey may apply transparent processing allowances to protect reliability and cost. Reaching a processing allowance does not remove access to memories you already saved, ordinary search, export, or deletion.
Video processing depends on YouTube, caption availability, external providers, and network conditions. Grey may be unable to process private, removed, restricted, captionless, or technically blocked videos. The service may change as those dependencies evolve.
You may export or delete your account and library data at any time. Account deletion does not automatically erase separately submitted feedback or anonymous funnel rows because Grey does not link them to the account; contact Grey Matter for a verified feedback-removal request. Grey may suspend access for abuse or legal requirements and will preserve export or deletion access when reasonably possible.
